Just in! New Ring Sling Maya Wraps! We just received a shipment of Maya Wraps in new colors. In addition to the colors we had before (Burnt Orange, Bright Striped & Light Orchid), we now also have:

Every month we feature another baby store from somewhere else in the world, whether it's in Charlotte or in Stockholm.

This month it's Mother Nature's Baby Store. Located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, this earth-friendly baby store features slings, diapers, baby clothing, toys and much more! We just love looking at their website. So the next time you're in Portland, give the store a looksie!

Wishlist: Thirsties Cloth Diapers

Once a week, we write about something we would really like to add to The Littlest Birds store's products. This week it's Thirsties Cloth Diapers. This diaper company has been around for five years now and their designs come in so many cute colors. They currently have four different diaper versions, which are the Duo Wrap, a pocket AIO, diaper covers, and their Fab Fitted diapers. They are also made entirely in the USA. Talk about thinking local!

Wishlist: Patapum Baby Carriers


Once a week, we write about something we would really like to add to our store's products. This week its Patapum Baby Carriers. Made in Italy, these baby carriers allow moms and dads to carry their baby while carrying on everyday functions. We would really like to have these in The Littlest Birds store. Book of the Month: Green Babies, Sage Moms

Each month we like to share with you a book that we think might be interesting and helpful to moms. This month it's "Green Babies, Sage Moms" by Lynda Fassa. This book is filled with helpful advice and guides to help the mother and mother-to-be raise a green and organic baby. From finding the "safest ways to get your house ready for the baby" to figuring out what your diaper choices are, this book is a helpful beginners' guide for the mom who wants raise her baby as green as possible. We currently do not carry this book in The Littlest Birds store, but you can find it at your local library or bookstore. Happy Reading!

Of the many desired products on our wish list is clothing from Happy Green Bee. Created by the founders of Burt's Bees, this company has so many cute organic cotton clothing pieces and even some organic cotton dolls. Their colors are bright and adorable. Their designs remind us of the Baby Legs leggings we carry.

Each month we are going to feature a mommy blogger. Our first mommy blogger, and our mommy blogger for October, is Tree Huggin' Mummy. Hailing from Tennessee, this mom is passionate about raising "green girls." With two kids of her own, ages 4 years and 8 months, this "mum" is dedicated to her girls and to Joubert Syndrome awareness.
